FROM SLEEPING BAGS IN THE 1980s TO Mono-material apparel made of 100% recycled polyester for more circular and long-lasting products.

WIGGYS® started making sleeping bags in Colorado in the 1980s. Later, the American military used the bags as part of the survival package you got after an emergency ejection from a fighter jet. Back then, WIGGYS® bags had an innovative insulation process as they were 100% polyester. This made the sleeping bags dry fast and kept insulation performance even in challenging conditions.


Today we continue with the insulation-driven concept but focus on wearable padding products in 100% recycled polyester. With a grand ambition yet a simple idea, we create responsible outerwear out of a tight ingredient list of mono-materials. This concept enables us to recycle WIGGYS® apparel and create a circular product lifecycle. In addition, we use recycled polyester instead of down as insulation. This allows for excellent performance and many benefits, one being that we never involve animals in our products. And still, WIGGYS® will keep you warm and dry through the dewy and cold days because, unlike down, our 100% recycled polyester won't lose its insulation performance when wet.

Over 40 years of experience as a sleeping bag brand has given us mastery over keeping you warm and dry while being comfortable. And along the way, we've become passionate about finding ways to reduce our impact and create outerwear with a circular perspective on our process. Today, outerwear from WIGGYS® fits a modern lifestyle, serving as your go-to gear when facing harsher weather.


Producing premium and lasting mono-material apparel is our mission. Part of that mission becomes taking responsibility for the product's entire lifecycle. And to do so, we use mono-materials in our WIGGYS® products. This way, we create the right conditions for our products to be recyclable – a fact that makes us super proud.


We design our pieces for the long term, not for short-term trends. Inspired by decades past, we want our designs to look timeless yet feel modern in features and comfort. Whether exploring nature or promenading through the cityscape, we carefully create your favorite outerwear to complement your style while still being highly functional.


WIGGYS® is vegan, meaning there are no animal-derived materials or by-products – 100% recycled polyester all the way. This means performance and high functionality. Use your piece often, wash it at home and wear it when it's that dewy or chilly weather. With recycled, loose polyester as padding, WIGGYS® outerwear will dry fast, keep you warm and retain its loft over time.


Still, modern times demand great design to be more than just aesthetics. Our idea is simple, create responsible outerwear. We believe in apparel that can withstand the elements without challenging them. And it means being careful with our resources and allowing for a circular product lifecycle.
